Living near the mountains in northern Spain so during winter it can get very cold. After researching different fires I decided to buy the eco25 as I have got a large house. Before having the fire I used gasoil central heating which you can imagine cost an arm and a leg to run. There are 17 radiators in my house on 3 floors so I needed something that was robust and did the job. The service and advice I received from quality stoves was excellent and the stove arrived here in Spain when promised. I am so glad I decided to buy this stove as it has not only cut my heating bill down by half but I also use it for a longer period than I did the oil central heating. The radiators do not get as hot as if I was using oil heating but it is sufficient to warm the house up. You have to make sure you use kiln dried wood as new wood does not produce enough heat, using coal produces most heat. Now the downside to the fire is that you have to clean it every morning, ensure you have enough split logs and every so often feed it some more fuel. But honestly speaking sitting in the front room watching a blazing fire and knowing it is heating the whole house makes it worthwhile.
